So far as the archive bit, you may have misunderstood my email.  I mentioned
that the archive bit is not used in Unix, but it can be used on NT systems.
On NT, as mentioned in my earlier email, you have the choice of whether or
not to use the archive bit.  Obviously in your case you would choose not to
use the archive bit, then the default used on NT is a datetime stamp.

David, thanks for your reply. I think NBU is a very fine product, it
surpasses TSM in some fields, especially what concerns central control by
the admin client, but I'am deceived that such a bug is possible at all, and
further that there is no timeline when it will be fixed. 

By the way, another subscriber says that TIR works fine if you use the
archive bit option (which I wont use because the archive bit is not
exclusively under NBUs control).
