Try a simple test:

ftp a large file from ultra 60 to e4000
record Kb's / sec for a put & a get

ftp a large file from e4000 to ultra 60
record Kb's / sec for a put & a get

At this point we'll see what your transfer rate is, and if it matches
well with your network.

Hello Admins,

My backup server is Ultra60, solaris6, Netbackup 3.4 and client is E4000
with solaris 6.
Backup is very slow,  approx. 250megs for 1 hour. Is this normal?
What can I do to speed up the backup? I already implemented multiple
data streams.
