Scenario:
Unix Master and Media server. A Windows NT system is installed with the
Windows Administration client.
I would like to configure the Administration client machine to have multiple
users, and then grant the users the abilities to perform various tasks. For
example, the basic user would be allowed to initiate backups (from the
Policy editor) and alternate client restores (from the Backup/Restore user
tool). A more advanced user would be able to possibly modify a client
configuration from the Properties tab and up or down tape drives and freeze,
unfreeze media, and inventory the tape silo, a thrid level operator would be
able to add or remove cleints, while the last level administrator would be
allowed full access.
Does netbackup support this kind of user permission in any way?
