If you do not get any better suggestions, then I suggest you delete the jukebox
and then re-define it. Use jbconfig and select "Configure SJI Jukebox" then
select "Standard SCSI Jukebox" and then define all the paths manually.
(6.0.1 was as great release compared with 5.x!)

Yes I know its old really old . But I just walked into this job and this is
what they are using for backus, yes I want to upgrade but for now getting a
good back up of the data is top priority . so I fired up there Networker
server and there were no Licenses installed. well after half an hour of digging
through Papers I found a Printopug with Enablers and auth Codes. I punched
them all in and and they took and everything got happy . to a point.
when ever I try to do something I get the error "Jukebox not supported ,
Upgrade required"
its a 40 Slot Box , and the autochanger license if for 64 slots so I have
enough on the licenses.
any Ideas ?

Don't make any sudden moves, don't break eye contact, back away slowly .....
and then run for the hills
6 is before my time, so I really don't know what magic you had to do to get
auto-changers to work ... so sorry can't really help you there
How long has it been broken for - if it's been an extended period of time,
then would you be better off installing a newer version of networker getting
it running just so that you have some backups. Although I'm guessing if they
are still running a really old version then you'd be looking at really old OS's
and hardware, and I wonder whether they would be supported.
Sorry that I can't be of much use ... good luck
Mat
