Yes, we are actually backing up a 6.1.3 client with a 8.0sp2 server.

I've discovered I have one client still at 7.4.2 (and 3 at 7.5.2). I am 
about to upgrade my NW server from 7.6.2 to 8.0.1.5. The documentation 
says that 7.5.x and 7.6.x clients are compatible with 8.x, but doesn't 
mention 7.4.x.

I am trying to schedule a time to update this client. But can anyone 
verify that a 7.4.x client does or does not work with 8.x server? This 
particular client only backs up on Sun, so I have time to upgrade, if I 
have to.
