Server : 8.0.1 running on Solaris 10
Client : 7.4.2 running on Solaris 10 trying to upgrade to 8.0.1 running on
Solaris 10

Uninstalled 7.4.2 client and faced issue during unloading sgen driver. Hacked
around by editing the preremove script in /var/sadm/install and uninstalled the
node & client. Installed new node & client software.

Now, when adding client under NMC and hitting on the Search button it prompts
with "The client name is either not valid or does not have Networker client 7.5
and above".

Same install works in another machine. Tried reinstalling and moving mm/ res/
folders. No luck. rpcinfo -p works both directions, ie server to client and
client to server.

Spent a long time with EMC support on webex. They could not resolve the issue,
now asked me to collect data to send to their escalation team.

Is the loaded sgen driver holding any reference? Anyone faced this issue or
knows of a workaround ?

Help much appreciated !
