There's no need to shutdown NetWorker or edit res files. The control
port is a field you can modify.

I assume you would want to at least have disabled the jukebox through NMC before you made that change. I'd hate to change that while any of the tape drives were active or had tapes loaded in them. Doesn't feel like that would be safe.
