Hi Team,
I have a solris host with a unix client. I am getting an error as follows:
Unable to execute savefs job on host xxxxxxxxx: Authentication error; why =
Invalid client credential
Any help will be appreciated.
Did you recently upgrade or re-install the client? If so, perhaps its
certificate has changed? Do you have the nmc gui? If so, take a look at
'Local Hosts'(expand)->server_name->client->NW Instance ID.
Check to see if that string appears under /nsr/res/nsrladb/*/*. If not,
it may have changed? Depending on what authentication you're using, you
may be able to regenerate it by deleting that entry for the client under
the server's list (under 'Local Hosts'), and it should recreate it the
next time a backup runs for the client. That might work.
Are you seeing any other errors in the NetWorker logs?
George
