Hello
You can also put your retention on adv_file to the maximum retention you want
and after X days, stage ypour data from adv_file to tape (another pool but the
retention is still the same), you can control exactly how many days your data
stay on adv_file (staging initiated by script based on mminfo queries).

Since the backup retention policy is 2 weeks, then setting the clone pool's
retention to 4 weeks should ensure that the savesets in the clone pool don't
expire for "at least" 4 weeks.
i.e. if you have a full backup once a week, and incrementals the rest of the
week, then the full backup cannot expire until the non full backups (that
depend on the full backup for recoveries) also expire. In this scenario, if
the retention is 1 week for all the backups, then the full will effectively
expire in 2 weeks.
Of course, if you want to re-use the tapes after coming back from off-site, you
can always manually relabel the tapes.
