Then, I've tried to label the tapes and assign them to the Default pool WITHOUT SUCCESS. I get a lot of device/media errors and the tapes are set in 'service' mode after the 21 error (I'm attaching a log window snapshot).

Any idea about what to check for to see if is a hardware problem (the library is new but it can be defective), tape problem (I've tested more than 20 tapes all with the same problem) or software (Legato + Windows + Drivers).
