We just received a new 7.5 SP1 media kit. It's interesting that the included hard copy document has 45-day temp codes for "Linux Network Edition", "Storage Node for Linux Network Edition", "NetWorker DiskBackup Option, all tiers"

but ...

no "Client Connections" for Linux? Only:

"100 NetWorker Client Connections for Windows and UNIX" and
"25 Cluster Client Connections for Linux"

Also, no "Autochanger Software Module" for Linux, only:

"NetWorker Autochanger Module 1-9 Slots for Windows and UNIX" and
"NetWorker Autochanger Software Module Unlimited Slots for Windows and UNIX".

Any ideas why?

The platforms in the licenses aren't all that accurate in some instances. For plain client connections and jukeboxes for instance, there is no concern as to what platform you install it on - they'll work on Linux, Windows, Unix all equally.

Where there are still differences are in some of the module licenses and the server/storage node licenses. Given that cluster client connections are no longer required, whether or not the cluster client connections _are_ specific to a particular platform will be largely irrelevant.
