I'm running NetWorker 7.2.2 on Solaris 10 u5, about every 30 days (well usually
when there are clones waiting on tapes...) The NetWorker environment hangs, and
has to be killed manually (networker stop doesn't respond). Anyone have this
issue and solve it, is it still experienced on 7.4.4?
Finally is the upgrade to 7.4.4 just to install ontop of 7.4.2? Anyone
experience any issues with a 7.4.2 -> 7.4.4 upgrade?
Alec

Figured it out, didn't need to put the Storage Nodes in the enterprise,
it was just a jitter moving from 7.2.2's fabulously simple interface.

Subject: [Networker] networker 7.4.4 failed to contact using UDP ping
Greetings,
I just upgraded from 7.2.2 to 7.4.4 and it all went ok until ... in the
Backup Server's NMC's Events windows I see this ugly message saying
"Unable to connect to server: Failed to contact using UDP Ping"
So I went in and unchecked the option from Setup/Setup/System Options.
But I still get the "unable to connect" message. Any ideas ?
Best Regards,
Sami
