Even though you need Home Base for a true bare metal restore, EMC Legato
supports Microsoft ASR for recovery from near bare metal. Read the disaster
recovery guide or windows admin guide on how to use ASR>

Although NetWorker doesn't have a bare metal restore feature built in,
EMC does offer a separate package that may meet your needs. It depends
on which operating system you need to protect. Check PowerLink for a
product called "Home Base" for information on this subject.
