Hello Bernd, We fixed similar problem downgrading the NML to 2.2.1 on
windows lotus server. Our notes server was 7.x
Please note that 2.2.1 does not use external config. file to set following
mentioned parameters such as NSR_BACKUP_LOTUS_DIR=TRUE.

FYI, NML 2.2.1 must be used with one patch on windows to avoid lotus crash
problem.

Is it multi partition Notes Server? Check the administration guide of NML,
there are few things need to be set correctly.
