Hello.
I My boss just bought me a DL3D 1500 virtual tapelibrary. And while it is
connected to network and SAN ond seems to work fine, I have a licensing
issue.
I use the EDL together with NW 7.4.2, and the problem is that the virtual
tapelibrary appears in NW as a physical library, not as a virtual.
I have been told by my supplier that the unit, given the correct license
should presnt itself as a virtual library, allowing me to create up to three
libraries with unlimited slots.
EMC support has supplied me with eval licenses for unlimited slots, and the
EDL works fine, but i expect this license to be very expensive.
I have asked EMC support for the prober license PN, but they do not
respond..
Does anyone know the correct license PN for NW ?
By the way, I have been told taht NW 7.5 beta should be out in a couple of
days, and it should have native support for DL3D 1500 !
Best regards
Ole Hermansen
