I'm assuming the question relates to having space freed up on disk
backup devices.
If using NetWorker 7.2.x and below, you'll need to run:
nsrim -X
nsrstage -C -V volumeName
If however you're using NetWorker 7.3.x and higher, all you have to
run to trigger the disk backup unit space freeing is:
nsrim -X
