Hello Scott,

Running the save command with Debug level 3 might yield more info --
something like this in a command window on the Windows 2003 client:

save -s ecnfds.ad.intra -vvvvv -m nrgpad2.nrgnet.intra -L -D 3

See below for the output.
I tried googleing for the "error 1232 on CheckRecurse" message but couldn't find any useful information....

Tried it, the ntbackup indeed succeeded without any problems.
Alas, the networker backup kept failing... *snif*
