Your server should have client, storage node and server packages
installed on it, and probably also the nmc package - make sure you
upgrade all the related packages  - on solaris you have to uninstall
everything first then install all the new ones, I think its much the
same real with rpms....

And making a copy of everything under /nsr is a really good thing to do.


I'm pretty sure 7.3 build 190 was the first version of 7.3.  it was
terribly unstable compared to 7.3.3.

Hi,
   I believe that your older 7.3 client should work (or at least that 
EMC will support you) and that all you really have to upgrade is the 
server.  Still, EMC would rather (and you would too because of the 
nsrexecd security flaw) that you upgrade the client to 7.3.3 as well.
