Thanks Stan,
We're running on a Dell 6650 quad processor server with 4 GB of memory,
MS-Win2003, connected via fiber to a DELL PV136T Lib (60 slot) w/ 3 LTO2
Drives (all specified by EMC). Approx 90 clients, 60% MS-Win, the
remaining 40% are various Unix
(HPUX,AIX,Solaris,RHLinux,OpenVMS,Unixware,DECUnix).

There is only one version of 7.4 available. You might be better off
going with the latest 7.3 until the bugs in 7.4 are worked out. You
would need to put in an update enabler before you update. You need an
update enabler whenever you update from one version to the next. As for
gotachas with 7.4, you should definitely read the release notes before
upgrading.

What's your hardware configuration like and what type of clients are you
backing up?
