Dunno about these releases. They've changed too many things and broken to many
scripts for me to feel comfortable about moving to 7.4.

For example, from what I've read on here, they've completely replaced the nsrjb
code, and now it doesn't work the way it used to in a number of ways (and
probably more that I don't know about): it doesn't remember which slots it
pulls tapes from, so it puts them back in any available slot (very scary); the
"quick" inventory from the GUI now has to actually load each tape (what's quick
about that???)

Also, looks like with 7.3.2, they changed the way that logging works (at least
on Linux clients). Instead of using their built in logger, they modify
/etc/syslog.conf with entries that can completely could potentially mess up
your logging (not to mention that they ASSUME that you're using syslog and not
syslog-ng or some other logging system. Right now, this is causing me some
real headaches on trying to figure out how to do the logging the way I want,
and still get logging out of the networker client.

Not to mention that the GUI ins 7.3.2 was several jumps back in functionality
in TONS of ways.

While I used to like Networker, I think that they've went downhill since being
bought by EMC. If it wasn't for needing better (although still severely
limited and somewhat brain-damaged) encryption in our backups, I would have
stayed at 7.2.1.
