As I already said, I am waiting for EMC to release a Networker version which is capable of dedup (based on Avamar or not) rather than buy into some external solution (such as Data Domain).

My opinion is that in the general case, once you chose an enterprise grade backup solution (such as Networker or Veritas) it is likely that sooner or later you will see most backups technologies integrated into the product. I must admit that some patience can help here.
