I've got a client that used to be used as a dedicated storage node. I
*think* that it currently only has the client software loaded, but I'm
not sure. In UNIX, I'd list out the components that were installed (e.g
pkginfo). Is there a way to do the same with Windows? All I see is
"NetWorker" in the add/remove programs listing, but it doesn't specify
whether it's the client software or more. Is there a file
(something.exe) that would be in nsr\bin if it's a storage node but not
if it's only a client? Is there another way to verify?
I don't know a proper way to do this, but as you say you can look for
certain executables. A couple that will only exist on a storage node
would be nsrmmd.exe and nsrjb.exe.
