We used to see this error occasionally with the 4.2x client. The solution was to clear and retype the password in the client configuration on the NetWare client. However, since upgrading to 7.2, I have not seen this issue. And, to complicate matters, the 7.2 no longer provides the ability to change client configurations from the NetWare client.

So you could retype the username and password in the client config in the Networker admin, but I doubt it will help. The only other suggestion I can offer is to stop networker (and unload nsrexecd), do an smsstop (and unload volsms and smdr) and then smsstart and networkr (to load the NetWare backup pieces and Networker, respectively). This has corrected other connectivity issues for me in the past.
