Be aware that the standard reporting in 7.3 is a short list of what is
available in NMC 3.1. You will now have to buy an Advanced reporting
license.

BTW, NMC was also available with Business edition.

Hi all,

The basic fact that it has additional reporting capabilities in terms of
NMC
integrated with it, I would upgrade it in all my customer locations.

Infact, we sell Network Edition only because NMC is bundled in it even if
Workgroup edition was otherwise sufficient. If reporting & web management
is
in-built now - you become more competitive selling Workgroup itself.

Because Networker 7.3 allows for different retention periods when
cloning, I have a couple of customers that will move to it as soon as it
is available. Also, I found out that the link on the FTP site is a
beat version.

Are the 7.3 release notes public yet? I checked in the documentation
section of Legato's web site, but I found nothing new.

Is anyone on this list planning to move to 7.3 when it becomes
publicly available?
