Hi George,
Currently I have 2 storage nodes with LSI Logic 53c1030 pcix mpt dual
ultra 320 scs rev 07 (per lspci). Both have qualstar SAIT libraries. I
ran 2.4.22-1.2199mptlsmp and recently 2.4.32 on Fedora core 1. I just
grepped var/log/messag* for abort and did not see any on both nodes.
These are not the R model. Re the adaptec, when I started the nodes I
tried adaptec with nothing but trouble. However I had heard on the list
of the adaptec site drivers, so my newest node uses 1 of my many
leftover HP 39160 boards and the current adaptec drivers without issue.
The adaptec node has not been in heavy use however. It is also running
2.4.32 kernel.
Here is fwrev from /proc/scsi/mptscsih/2 on one node.
FwRev-01030700h
