Re: [Networker] Staging Question

Hi Maarten,
Thank you Marten for your response. Yes, at present rsync is doing doing 1st
full and daily incrementals to hub server filesystems. We configured those
filesystems as hub server/client savesets. Till now we are using only for DR
purpose, but if want to completely eliminate the BO jukeboxes even the regular
restores should be done from HO server, and it is very difficult to trace the
user's home server name,partition etc.,
each restore become 2 step process, restore from hub server to hub server
disks, and use rsync/rdist/ftp/scp mechanism to transfer the data from the
restore location. Is there any software(replicator ?) provide both the above
(rsync and ebs)functions and can allow mount point options?Operating
systems(hub serevr and all Branch offices) arte on Solaris 9 environment.
With Regards,
Rag
