The files you need to look at are savegrp.log and networkr.log. The
first is a record of each save group that has ran. I rename these about
once a week, because they get rather large.  The second file is a record
of a restore, it covers start time,number of files where recovered to.
In older versions, both these files are over written when each of these
events occur. The daemon.log also contains info you might be interested
in and does not get overwritten. You might want to look at each of these
files to get a good understanding of whats going on.

I have asked the question with no response. I don't know if this is a
stupid question, but I need to get the stats. I need to know how I can
get the amount of data backed up and restored.

 

I use two backup servers UNIX and MS; my UNIX server looses all the
stats after an nsr_shutdown cmd (Networker 6.1.3). I would like to get
my stats back.
