Greetings,

Since upgrading one client to NetWare 6.5 SP3, we have twice seen "nsrim run recently, skipping" errors when trying to back it up. We are running NetWorker 6.1.3 on RedHat 9. The NetWare client is running 4.22 client with the updated nsrlib.nlm.

We don't do any automatic tape recycling. The error occurs running fulls and incrementals. We have tried creating a new index for the client and it still fails.

The first time this happened, we tried creating a new index, checked the indexes, etc. and after a while it "just started working". This time, our luck is not so good.

I did a thorough comparison of this server with one that is working and noticed that this server was missing sys:\etc\sms\smdr.cfg. This box was a fresh NetWare 6.5 SP3 install so no idea why the file was not there.

I copied this file over from another server and now Networker is happy.
