Hi all,
When I started a backup group, it gave the following error & the backup
never started -
Oct 5 14:33:11 nsklinux logger: NetWorker savegroup: (info) starting FS
Windows (with 4 client(s))
Oct 5 14:33:23 nsklinux logger: NetWorker media: (info) suggest mounting
FSWindows_002 on nsklinux for writing to pool 'FSWindows'
Oct 5 14:33:23 nsklinux logger: NetWorker media: (waiting) Waiting for 1
writable volumes to backup pool 'FSWindows' tape(s) on nsklinux
Oct 5 14:36:17 nsklinux logger: NetWorker media: (info) loading volume
FSWindows_002 into /dev/nst0
Oct 5 14:36:47 nsklinux logger: NetWorker media: (info) sdlt320 tape
FSWindows_002 was being written before crash
Oct 5 14:57:04 nsklinux logger: NetWorker savegroup: (alert) FS Windows
aborted, total 4 client(s), 0 Hostname(s) Unresolved, 4 Failed, 0
Succeeded. (nsktech, nskdev, promis_server, nskscala.nskerp Failed)
I had to abort the group. I recycled the tape manually & restarted the
group.
Backups are happening now but I would like to understand what does it mean
when it says -
NetWorker media: (info) sdlt320 tape FSWindows_002 was being written
before crash
Please help...
Regards,
Anuj
