We are doing disk to disk backups using basic file type devices. These
devices are labels just like tapes. When we go to mount one of our disk
devices it gives us the error "no file label found". When I go to the
disk area through the OS there is a file named volume of size 0.
Comparing this with the other disk devices we have this should be a 64KB
file. I can't relabel this device without losing the data on it. Does
anyone know how I can recreate this volume file?

Environment: Sparc V880 server, Solaris 9, Networker 7.1.1

Thanks,
Jon
