Has the st.conf definition for the DLT7K changed? It looks like the
drive has been forced to a 4K block size.

And therefore is unable to read blocks on the media of larger size.
Do you have a copy of your old st.conf from before the upgrade? Can you
copy the relevant DLT7K lines from your existing one and show them?
