We just installed two SDLT320 drives but I'm having problems reading our
DLT7000 tapes.

I'm getting the following in daemon.log -

01/07/04 10:11:50 nsrd: restore_server:<11>/usr/local (12/10/03) starting read
from Month3.00107 of 15 KB

01/07/04 10:13:46 nsrd: media notice: Volume "Month3.00107" on device
"/dev/rmt/0ubn": Block size is 4096 bytes not 131072 bytes. Verify the
device configuration. Tape positioning by record is disabled.

01/07/04 10:13:46 nsrd: media warning: /dev/rmt/0ubn reading: fsr 829 read:
Not enough space

01/07/04 10:13:47 nsrd: media emergency: could not position Month3.00107 to
file 19, record 830

01/07/04 10:13:47 nsrd: media warning: /dev/rmt/0ubn reading: Not enough
space

And then it disables the drive.

I'm still looking around but thought I'd get this note out in case others have
seen
this.

Thanks in advance.
