On NetWorker 7 with Linux, NetWorker uses a 192KB block size. It is likely
that on Windows it uses 64KB (I haven't checked), since that is the maximum
permitted by some SCSI adapters unless you modify the scatter/gather buffer
allocation.

With LP9000 FC HBAs on Windows 2000, you won't have the 64KB limitation, so
you will be free to choose a higher value. The fact that Legato have chosen
192KB as the default for AIT-3 on Unix suggests that this figure is more
optimum than 64KB, so 192KB is probably a good choice. The most important
thing is that the block size is the same on all your platforms. If you
choose 64KB for all platforms it will work, but I would suggest that 192KB
would be a better choice.

In case you didn't know, the way to find out what block sizes are used for
each device is to set an environment variable NSR_DEV_BLOCK_SIZE_MSG before
starting nsrd, then check the daemon.log for the block size messages.
