Charles,

In case you have not gotten any responses ... I had to create a file
in /nsr/res called "servers" with the fully qualified name of my
backup server. I have been real happy with the OS X client --- it is
really fast as well.

Hope this helps!
Karen ...

When I try to backup a Mac OSX machine I get "unknown host name: XXXXX".
From both client initiated and Legato server initiated backups. The name
does resolve properly from the client with nslookup forward and reverse. I
can also traceroute from the client to the server.

I don't see a servers file in /nsr/res, and I was not prompted for an
authorized server for backup on the client install. Is this what I am
running into?
