Will Networker back up an open MS Access database? Or does it need a
special command or module?

MS Access has no backup interface like MSSQL or Oracle. This means you
cannot make a consistent online backup. You have to make sure that no
one has opened the file. Maybe You can make a snapshot or use an OFM
like Terry said, but i´m not sure if you get a consistent state.

If You have enough users for Your access databases, its worth to think
about migrating the access data to a mssql or oracle database and then
use access only as a frontend. Then You can do consistent online backups
and multiple users working with the same database is much more stable.
