Yes -- get them both on the phone at the same time. Legato's and
Netapp's tech support groups actually work quite closely, especially on
NDMP issues. Get one vendor to start a conference call (with you,
legato, and netapp), assuming your support is up to date with both vendors.

It is possible that they are not even aware that there is a problem with
the way those two versions interact. You may not get an instant fix from
either vendor, but at least you'll be able to keep the vendors from
sending you around in a circle, each blaming the other.
