This is indeed the best way to know what clients, filesystems, and backup
levels NetWorker will do for <group>.  The problem is that if your clients
have pre and post backup scripts, those get run even for a preview.  This
means that doing a preview may not be appropriate for certain groups, if
your pre script does something like putting a production database into
"backup mode".

Otherwise, doing the preview is the best way to "predict" what NetWorker
will do.
