Here's something waaaay over-simplified. Notifications takes input from
stdout. Create a shell script that would essentially be the back-end of
a pipe from notifications.
#!/bin/sh
cat >> /some/dir/savelog_file
Okay, when you write the script, you'll probably want to do a little
checking for the whether the file and directory exist, and so on.
Go to Notifications (select View -> Details) and use Create,
and in the Action area put in the path to your shell script. In the
Event area, select only Savegroup. In Priority select notic and Alert.
And apply.
Test.
Debug until working.
Yer done.
