The version of Informix that I use is old and will not allow Legato to back
it up.
I have plans to upgrade to the latest version of Informix which should
resolve the issue and allow the utilization of my existing tape library.

I have been using a DLT Drive to back up the database.  This requires
frequent changing of tapes throughout the night.
We are losing the staff that usually changes the tapes.

I am looking to find a solution such as a tape changer that would automate
the tape changes.
Does anyone have experience with this kind of hardware?

Do I need special software to "tell" the changer to change to the next
tape?
