Hi all,

It's sunday afternoon, nothing on TV, ok, going to update some bacula servers:

After portmaster -a

I got this in my bconsole shell:

sudo bconsole
Password:
Shared object "libbaccfg-7.4.2.so" not found, required by "bconsole"

I got the same message first time I did the portmaster -a on bacula-dir but with the help of make reinstall clean the bacula-dir starts ok.

How to make again bconsole only or fix the error?

Thanks

J.

The lib appears to be safe in the /usr/local/lib :

-rwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel    55595 Sep 25 18:28 libbaccfg-7.4.4.so
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel       18 Sep 25 18:28 libbaccfg.so -> libbaccfg-7.4.4.so

Why bconsole is searching the lower version?

J.

ok, make reinstall clean in sysutils/bacula-client solves the problem.

Issues with the FreeBSD port should be raised via http://bugs.freebsd.org/ where it will come to my attention much faster.

A similar issue was reported at https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=212853

There is a known problem building from source, which I do not know how to resolve.

The problem does not occur when installing from packages (e.g. 'pkg upgrade')

Sorry about that.
