Yes, I've seen the same, or very similar.
The "different location" the files were restored to was accessible as a Samba
share on a Linux machine.
The files were there, but Windows users accessing the share over the network
didn't see them because the file permissions didn't match the share permissions.

Hi Jaroslav,
I have seen this before. What appears to be happening is that the files still
exist in the restore location, but the Bacula FD is applying the original
permissions to them once all files have been restored. Those permissions cause
them to become "special system files" (or whatever Microsoft calls them)
I am no Windows expert, but I think I recall that they will be visible if you
set your Windows Explorer to "not hide system files" (or one of those similar
settings)
