600 seconds is more than enough for most LTO libraries.

The worst case I've seen is less than 60 seconds (unload, park tape, 
grab new tape, load, seek to EOD)

I've has persistent problems with Bacula deciding that for a new job it 
wants to put another tape (different pool) in a drive that's already in 
use, instead of picking up an unused drive. There's a bug report in for 
this behaviour.
