      "mysqlcheck"
      against the Bacula database--this shows all tables are OK.


Not a solution, but a guess: check if you have enough space available on
/tmp filesystem.


What constitutes "enough space"? Is there an algorithm or other mechanism to determine whether this is the problem?


And is this an error one that is happening on the Bacula server? Or is it happening on the MySQL server? MySQL does not run on the same machine as Bacula.
