Thanks for the explanation. I'll have to dig deeper on my end to see what else could be at the root of the issue. As explained, my disk volumes are on ZFS, but again this should not be an issue and was working for me previously.

I don't think I've ever gotten it to work under any circumstance, either manually or automated.

It is working fine, automatic or manually. I use it on a lot of Bacula deployments without problems.
