Could it be a firewall problem ? I had the same sort of troubles some
time ago and the various firewall were responsible for that. The storage
daemon that handles the tape should wait for connections on port 9102,
so these connections should be allowed to enter the host. The file
daemon that handles the files should wait for connections on port 9103,
so these connections should be allowed to enter the host.
