i'll look into it.  i find it kind of absurd though, that it only
happens AFTER the backup is finished, and quite some time after.  i've
never noticed any network errors with the machine, i've had ssh
connections to it last for weeks, until a reboot.  downloads and uploads
always work perfectly.  also i've been using rsync for backups on the
machine for more than a year now and, even if there were network
problems, rsync is obviously able to recover from them.  why can't bacula?
