I updated my file set to include, signature as well as compression - ran an incremental, and it worked -

Software Compression:   96.6 %

Has just been emailed to me, and I'm now in a much better mood that I was earlier today :) But now, I wonder, does Signature need to be included anywhere there is compression in order for compression to work? and if so, how come it's a valid configuration if signature is absent?
