This is for Bacula on FreeBSD 7.3?
If so I'll patch the FreeBSD port.
Can you try this:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/bacula-client
make clean && make patch
cd work/bacula-5.0.3 (assuming usual port setup)
patch -p1 < /path-to/bacula-5.0.3-libz.patch
If no errors, try:
make
Please report back.
