As far as I know the server send the fqdn to the client then the client trys
to connect to the storage with the parameters sended by de director those
parameters are in the storage resourse on the bacula-dir.conf
Please copy the storage resourse if you can...

Although this will not help your backup problem. Make sure your
bconsole.conf file is correct on the windows client. That probably
should be in the same folder as the bacula-fd.conf
