[Bacula-users] How to limit DB growing
2010-06-18 10:21:48
Hi at all,
my Bacula 5 system is still running since the beginning of February and
now I've seen that the size of my mysql instance is grown to 30GB.
My scheduled backups are so divided:
- a full backup on Thursday, recycled every 4 weeks
- a month full backup on the last Thursday of the month, never recycled
(will buried in a hole till the end of world :-P)
- a incremental backup every other day of the week recycling the tape
every two weeks.
I've noticed there is a prune (or maybe purge) parameter that permits to
clean old datas from DB, could someone suggests a useful configuration?
Thanks in advance,
Simone
PS:
At the end, my boss order a MSL6030 from HP. I'm waiting for the monster
:-P.
